Overview
The Luce is Ferrari's first full-electric model, unveiled in Rome on 25 May 2026. It adds a new direction to the Maranello range rather than replacing Ferrari's combustion and hybrid cars. The question is not simply how fast an electric Ferrari can be, but how it makes the driver feel.
The hardware
Four electric motors, one per wheel, draw energy from a 122 kWh battery. Ferrari's published specifications quote 772 kW, 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, 0–200 km/h in 6.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 310 km/h. These are manufacturer figures, not VOLT-AGE test results.
Control at every corner
An active suspension system derived from the F80 works with four-wheel steering and individual motor control. Ferrari describes the integration of these systems as central to the Luce's character, alongside new regeneration and torque-management systems and an authentic approach to sound.
A different kind of cockpit
Designed with Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson at LoveFrom, the exterior, interior and interface share a deliberately coherent design language. Physical buttons, switches and dials work alongside digital information. An energy-focused E-Manettino manages power and range, while the familiar Manettino adjusts the car's dynamic character.
Why it matters
Ferrari has spent decades making engine response, sound and mechanical drama part of its identity. The Luce brings that expectation into an electric architecture. It belongs in this directory because few cars face a more demanding test of whether electric performance can have a character all its own.
