Overview
The e-tron GT is Audi's electric Gran Turismo: a low, four-door coupé built for long, fast journeys. The updated car now comes as a family of four, from the e-tron GT quattro to the RS e-tron GT performance.
The range
Every version uses two motors and quattro all-wheel drive. The entry e-tron GT quattro reaches up to 584 PS with launch control and 0–62 mph in 4.0 seconds. The S e-tron GT takes that to 0–62 mph in 3.4 seconds, and the RS e-tron GT offers up to 857 PS with launch control.
The RS e-tron GT performance
At the top sits the RS e-tron GT performance, which Audi calls its most powerful series-production car to date. It produces up to 680 kW (925 PS) in launch control mode and 1,027 Nm, for 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, according to Audi. A newly developed rear motor makes 415 kW on its own.
Battery and charging
The updated battery holds 105 kWh gross and 97 kWh usable. It charges at up to 320 kW, and Audi quotes 10–80% in about 18 minutes on a high-power charger. Audi UK lists up to 384 miles of official range for the e-tron GT quattro.
In the UK
Top Gear's 2026 review lists UK prices from £89,505 for the e-tron GT quattro, rising to £143,875 for the RS e-tron GT performance before options.
Why it matters
The e-tron GT shares its foundations with the Porsche Taycan, but Audi tunes it as a grand tourer. It shows electric performance doesn't have to shout to be seriously fast.
